Almost entirely made by hand, our unisex shoes are produced in Brazil at the world's only 100% vegan shoe factory. Each shoe represents our environmental and social commitments from the ground up. We’ve gone to great lengths to ensure our shoes are as ecologically sound as possible and that those who make them work in safe working conditions are paid premium wages to support their families and their communities.
Fashion has become an unsustainable industry, with major brands choosing to produce products that are here today, but in a landfill tomorrow. We think that’s wrong. That’s why we’ve partnered with Retraced. They’ve seen the future. It’s sustainable, and it’s transparent. Retraced is an ethical platform that gives us important information about all the suppliers in our manufacturing network.
With a firm understanding of where our materials are sourced from, we are able to make decisions that meet the needs of our customers. It allows us to determine how materials are sourced, the environmental impact of every point in the supply chain, and ultimately all the data needed to make a choice that meets our ethical and environmental standards. We set out to build a new standard and make a positive contribution to our planet and its future.

Very well constructed, comfy comfy comfy and amazing to see recycling come to life this way. Good job Grounded people :)
Humor aside, the Jundiai sneakers are where it's at.
They are one part style, two parts substance, being rugged feeling (and looking) enough for everyday wear, and can stand shoulder to shoulder with many other more mainstream brands of casual shoes/sneakers. I grew up wearing classic Converse, and the Jundiai overall look and "foot feel" is reminiscent of those.
The price was reasonable, and the first-time buyer coupon was a good touch. Side note: I had some initial questions about the style and fit before purchasing, and customer service was very helpful.
All-in-all: good shoes.
Really thin and unsupportive
Narrow
Feels much lower quality than advertised
awesome color and good everyday shoes :)
Hello, I've been wearing these shoes for almost a month now, and I thought I'd give it an in-depth review. Firstly, once you receive the shoes, the packaging is super nice. On the packaging, there's a QR code where you can scan to see where the shoe was made and where the materials came from which I thought was pretty cool. There's also a reusable bag in the box. Now the shoes themselves; the khaki colour is similar to what you see in the pictures. I usually wear a 9.5 but since there are no half sizes, I went with a 10 and they fit good and not too big. But since I usually wear runners with high drops, these shoes felt a bit weird at first to walk on and took some time adjusting to the zero drop. But if you already wear Converse or other flat shoes, these are pretty similar and they should feel comfortable right away. After breaking in the shoes and getting used to the zero drop, they felt nice and comfortable for everyday use. I worn them to the gym and just going out for walks, and my feet never felt sore or uncomfortable. However, I weigh about 170 and I'm not sure how good the cushioning is for someone heavier since the insoles aren't too thick. But the insoles are removable in case someone wants to switch them out. Overall, I think they're good shoes for everyday use (walking the dog, going to the mall, lifting etc.) if you're looking for something that's stylish and also environmentally friendly.
